On Thursday, June 24th the Blue Parrot hosted a fundraiser for Green Beetz, a food and environmental education non-profit that provides a ready-to-teach curriculum to middle school educators. Green Beetz is all about empowering kids to make healthy choices for themselves, their community, and the planet – and having fun in the process. True to its mission, the event featured eco-friendly arts and crafts, carnival games, a healthy dessert bar, and lots of tacos and tequila.
