For the Love of Art

An inside look into the world of art consulting.
Lisa Rosenberg

Using a blend of intuitive, creative and visionary traits, Lisa Rosenberg, a passionate New York-based art advocate and advisor, established LS Art Consulting as a private art advisory and curation service for all stages of collecting. Whether one is a first-time buyer or a seasoned art aficionado looking to add to an existing collection, Lisa brings her energy and expertise to guide art enthusiasts in their acquisitions. Her mission is clear: to connect individuals with works of art that speak to them on a deeper level.

Informed by her human development and art history studies at Cornell University, Lisa founded LS Art Consulting. Prior to launching her own business, she spent 10 years as an executive recruiter in investment banking and publishing. During this time, she played a pivotal role in the launch of Art Basel magazine in 2002. To further enhance her knowledge of the contemporary art world, Lisa obtained a Global Contemporary Art World certificate from Christie’s. She leverages this expertise to organize customized group tours, introducing both adults and teens to the world of contemporary art. Rosenbebrg is also passionate about discovering new techniques and materials that emerging artists are engaging in. “As an art adviser, I enjoy discovering a world where creative choices are boundless,” shares Rosenberg. “Embracing the beauty of educating and crafting inspiring aesthetic experiences for your clients is an integral part of the art consultant’s journey.”

Lisa’s commitment to the arts extends beyond her professional endeavors. She has actively contributed to the community by co-chairing the Arts and Design committee for Northern Westchester at the UJA. She also supports organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation, 914 Cares, and The Bruce Museum Collectors Council. Lisa’s dedication to education is evident through her involvement with the Cornell Human Ecology Dean’s Advisory Council and her six-year tenure on the board of the Byram Hills Education Foundation, where she raised funds to enhance children’s education. Lisa resides in Westchester with her family, including her two boys and two bich-poos. lsartconsulting.com; IG @ls.art.consulting
