Southamptonfest returns for its 12th year, ready to celebrate the vibrant art, fashion and music of the community! This event, beginning the night of Friday, October 4, and leading into Saturday’s all-day activities is a local favorite, drawing visitors from all over to enjoy a perfect blend of family-friendly activities. With live entertainment, children’s events, and a bustling farmers market, there’s something for everyone in Southampton’s charming atmosphere.

The festivities kick off Friday night with an exciting party at the Southampton Cultural Center, hosted by the Southampton Rotary Club. Get ready for an unforgettable evening of live music, dancing and plenty of fun, all while supporting the club’s meaningful humanitarian work in the community.

Saturday is packed with all-day activities that will take over the village, offering something for everyone. Make your way to Agawam Park, where you’ll find an array of live bands, dance performances and food trucks. Take a moment for a relaxing hayride provided by Heart of the Hamptons, and explore activities from local organizations like the Rogers Memorial Library, Southampton Animal Shelter and the Southampton Arts Center, which will host interactive exhibits and activities including the shelter’s pet mobile where you can meet adorable dogs, cats and small animals.

For art lovers, the Art + Design Walk presented by the Peter Marino Art Foundation is a must-see, offering guided tours of local galleries and design houses. You can also create something at the Southampton History Museum’s Pelletreau Silver Shop, where a jewelry-making workshop awaits. Other spots that can’t be missed include activities at the Southampton Fire Department, the Southampton Inn and the Southampton Cultural Center.

Highlights also include the beloved Hampton Flea Vintage Market as well as a German takeover at Shippy’s Oktoberfest.

As the weekend unfolds, don’t miss the bustling farmers market, offering an array of fresh produce, artisanal goods and one-of-a-kind finds in fashion, art and more. Also at Agawam Park between the many activities, Mayor Bill Manger will deliver a short speech, honoring the legacy of World War I and Southampton’s memorial. The Villa has made it their mission to restore this historic gem to its original glory. Proceeds from Southamptonfest will be given to help aid this process.

Mark your calendar for a weekend of fun, food, art, and community at Southamptonfest!
