On Tuesday, July 15, Mona Look-Mazza, ambassador for the Buddy Program, and Cristina Cuomo, founder and editor of Purist magazine, co-hosted a dazzling summer soiree at Avi & Co.’s new Aspen salon. Guests gathered for an evening of elegance and intention, where radiant diamonds met a radiant cause: supporting the Buddy Program’s decades-long commitment to youth mentorship in the Roaring Fork Valley. Attendees explored the brand’s Hue Collection and lab-grown diamonds, with store director Bernal Bartholomew offering an insider’s look at custom timepieces and iconic Rolex watches.
The evening unfolded with summer sips, a breezy outdoor bar and refreshments courtesy of Everybody Water enhancing the festive and philanthropic atmosphere. Program director Lindsay Lofaro and Ali Welch shared moving reflections on the Buddy Program, founded by Boogie Weinglass, and its more than 50-year legacy, as well as how it continues to shape young lives today.
