Baobab Collection brought Côte d’Azur chic to the East End on June 13, hosting a sun-drenched lunch on Duryea’s waterfront deck in Montauk. Guests clinked glasses of chilled rosé with author Candace Bushnell and a stylish crowd of editors, stylists, and Hamptonites, all soaking up the seaside breeze as sailboats drifted across Fort Pond Bay. The relaxed midday fête featured mini lobster rolls and bright summer salads, perfectly suited to the coastal setting.
The afternoon marked the launch of Baobab’s Riviera Collection, with a spotlight on the new Eilenroc candle. Housed in hand-blown glass speckled with mauve and saffron circles—a nod to the Art Deco villa on Cap d’Antibes—the candle is as beautiful as it is transportive, blending jasmine, violet and warm benzoin for a scent that evokes sunlit Riviera gardens.
Parting gifts kept the mood alive: each guest took home an Eilenroc candle and a luxurious hand cream infused with nourishing baobab oil—a lasting reminder that a taste of the Riviera is just a Baobab flame away.
