TACAW (The Arts Campus at Willits) kicked off summer with its third annual gala on June 26, drawing over 250 guests to its sun-drenched patio and vibrant theater space in the heart of the Roaring Fork Valley. The sold-out celebration of the nation’s first sustainable, all-electric performing arts facility unfolded from golden hour to midnight, featuring cocktails, a dinner by Epicure Catering, and a spirited mix of performances from local youth dancers, poets and musicians—including a surprise ukulele serenade by William H. Macy and a headline set by Low Cut Connie’s Adam Weiner. Notables in attendance included Patricia Blanchet and Leon Robinson, Raffaella De Laurentiis, Elaine Pagels and Lisa Bailey.
Inside, Executive Director Ryan Honey shared milestones from TACAW’s rapid rise, including 2,500 youth served in 2025 alone. A video message from Board Chair Daniel Shaw, tuning in from Iceland, surprised guests with a $25,000 gift and the announcement of the new Bailey Shaw Internship Program. The evening wrapped with a lively paddle raise and an after-party that turned the lobby into a dance floor, cementing TACAW’s place as the Mid-Valley’s cultural heartbeat. tacaw.org
