On February 15, Purist hosted a stylish shopping soirée with Mackage benefiting the Children’s Oncology Support Fund during AlpenGlow at the iconic Hotel Jerome. A portion of proceeds supported the charity, making it a magnificent evening of fashion and heartfelt giving.
Guests were treated to an exceptional presentation from Mackage, the 27-year-old Montreal-based brand renowned for bringing sophisticated, architectural fashion to mountain climates. Notable attendees included Luis Miguel Toro, Jonathan Segal, Rachel Brook, Ian Abbott, Julie Walsh, Cara Valenti, Ani & George Azadian, and Carly & Scott Weber.
The collection felt perfectly at home in Aspen, featuring elevated skiwear, beautifully tailored peacoats trimmed with shearling collars and leather pocket detailing, and striking retro-inspired one-piece ski suits that nodded to alpine glamour of decades past.
In the heart of Aspen on Valentine’s Day during Presidents Day weekend—how fitting—guests gathered where the energy of the town naturally converges. After carving through fresh powder by day, friends descended into the warmth and buzz of Hotel Jerome by late afternoon, stepping into the very center of Aspen’s social scene.
Co-hosts Cristina Cuomo, Purist founder, and Thomas Pierce, founder of COSF, welcomed guests throughout the evening. The courtyard was alive with children and parents skating on the rink between Hotel Jerome and the Aspen Times space across the way, capturing the magic of alpine winter at golden hour.
Sponsors including Mackage, Society De La Rassi, Entourage Rosé, Saint James Organic Iced Tea, ProleevaMax and Bully Blocker added to the celebratory spirit, with their offerings featured in gift bags for guests with purchase. Friends lingered well into the evening as the festivities continued.
Aspen glowed brightly—with friendship, generosity, romance and that unmistakable alpine light.
