When considering new locations for The Flower Shop, “We’re always drawn to places with a strong sense of community,” says co-founders Dylan Hales and Ronnie Flynn. From the brand’s first outpost in Chinatown, New York—often described as feeling like a small town in a big city—to Austin’s vibrant East Side, the concept has taken root in neighborhoods defined by intimacy, local culture and a shared social energy. Snowmass Village immediately carried that same spirit. With its mountain setting and close-knit atmosphere, the destination feels like a natural extension of the brand’s ethos—an inviting place for locals and visitors alike to gather after a day on the mountain, reconnect with friends and family, and settle into a welcoming community hub.

The opportunity to bring the concept to Snowmass emerged through longtime collaborators Stephane De Baets and Jayma Cardoso, who invited Hales and Flynn to join them in the venture. Their shared belief in the continued growth, character and future of Snowmass Village made the partnership an organic fit. For Flynn in particular, the mountain backdrop has a personal resonance; having grown up skiing and snowboarding, the setting carries a sense of familiarity that made the expansion feel especially meaningful. viewlineresortsnowmass.com
