Nostalgia begins to move from the ground up. A subtle breeze passes through the air, the light shifts almost imperceptibly, and just like that, the opulence of summer begins its rise into fall, seamlessly. This season calls you to fold into yourself and fall away from the noise. It’s getting quieter outside, but louder on a soul level. If you’re tempted to tune out, I highly suggest you tune in and tune up.
As seasons change, your intuition heightens, paying attention to what you feel, sense and know before you know why. There is a convergence happening of the life that has been lived and the one forming in front of you. Change is coming, and you can feel it. Summer moved swiftly, but this isn’t necessarily the time for rest. Fall asks us to move differently: not slower, but deeper and dialed in.
Be Fearless
Being fearless is the opportunity of the moment. It’s time to fear less about what’s coming and trust more in what’s calling you forward. There is an invitation inside the unknown, so walk toward it—your heart open, eyes wide and with a willingness to create something different out of the collision between the old you and what you are becoming. Nothing stays the same. As the human spirit rises, align with what feels timely for a better world. Use your own compass, don’t just go with the masses. Be fearless to stand apart from the crowd.
Courage isn’t knowing what happens next. It’s knowing you’ll meet yourself on the other side of this threshold.
Make Magic
Take this season to turn the ordinary into a ceremony. Follow synchronicities—they light the way. Raise a candle. Say a prayer. Take the chance. Answer the invitation. Notice what keeps appearing and what refuses to leave your awareness.
Magic doesn’t always arrive with thunder and lightning, although there was plenty of that this summer. Sometimes it’s a whisper, a perfectly timed meeting, a song on the radio, a dream you can’t shake, the stranger who says exactly what you needed to hear, an idea that arrives out of nowhere and refuses to leave. Pay attention, and when the magic shows itself, don’t look away. Acknowledge its arrival with gratitude. Gratitude tells the universe: I noticed. And perhaps that’s when the invisible becomes more visible.
Make Love
Love what you’re doing. Love who you’re becoming and who you have left behind. Love wildly, deeply and unapologetically. Make love with your life—not only with another person, and that too—but with the mornings, the music, the meals, the conversations, the changing light and the beautiful strangeness of being alive on this planet at this exact moment.
This is a fragile life, and being here now is a treasure not everyone is granted. Stay present to the breath, and remember that every inhale creates a little more space in the body for the soul to expand. Love the life that is happening now, not only the one you’re imagining for later.
Remember
Be there for your own life. Put the phone down. Take the trip. Gather around the table. Stay up late laughing. Say yes to the invitation you almost declined. Remember the people who feel like home, the places that wake something ancient inside you, and the dreams that have followed you through every version of yourself. Someday is made of days exactly like this one.
Remembering this season may go deeper than nostalgia. There may be moments when something new feels strangely familiar, when a place, person, idea or experience seems to awaken something you can’t quite explain. Trust what resonates. Some things aren’t meant to be learned for the first time. Perhaps they are meant to be remembered.
And while you’re moving through this shift, watch your words. Your words truly are your wand, so cast only what you want to expand. Don’t waste your words—they are creating your reality in real time. Remember, what we repeat, we reinforce. What we declare, we direct. So choose your words like spells and your thoughts like prayers.
The season is changing, the colors are bright and the world is whirling—hold on, let’s take flight. We’re headed toward the light. New senses are stirring. New frequencies ignite. What once lived somewhere beyond our awareness may suddenly begin coming to sight.
Listen differently and look beyond what you already know. There is magic in the mystery and wisdom in letting go.
So this season, Be fearless. Make magic. Make love. Remember. Follow what illuminates you, and fall away from the noise so you can fall deeper into yourself and closer toward wonder.
And as the leaves begin their beautiful descent, perhaps we can do the same—not falling apart, not falling behind, but falling into the luminous.
