This year’s Hetrick-Martin Institute’s (HMI) School’s Out benefit raised over $600,000, which is the highest in its history. The money raised ensures that queer and trans youth will have the resources they need through the summer months when schools are closed and resources are scarce. Purist’s latest cover star, Kelly Ripa, and husband Mark Consuelos were in attendance, as well as Candace Bushnell, Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski, Peter Som, Dennis Basso, Thom Filicia, David Kleinberg and DJ Timo Welland among others at lighting guru Nathan Orsman and husband Jose Castro’s fabulous home.
