Altima Caviar’s Blue Tins are This Summer's Health Food Fix.

Since its launch in 2022, Altima Caviar has positioned itself as one of the country’s most sought-after caviar brands. It is a staple at some of the finest resorts and restaurants, from LA to NYC, Houston to the Virgin Islands. And now, Altima Caviar has finally washed ashore at some of the East End’s most beloved spots, where it’s being hailed as the new superfood.

“Caviar is a nutrient-dense delicacy, rich in omega-3 fatty acids, providing support to the heart, skin and brain,” says Dr. Faryal Farooqi, a board-certified physician in internal, functional and aesthetic medicine. “It’s also an excellent source of protein, antioxidants, and essential vitamins and minerals like A, D, E, B12, selenium, calcium, and iron.”

Where to sample Altima’s famous blues tins? At The Hedges Inn or The Baker House 1650, both in East Hampton. “It’s an indulgence that feels perfectly at home here—elegant, celebratory and ideal for a breezy lunch or golden hour aperitif,” says Sarah Wetenhall, owner of The Hedges Inn, and its Palm Beach sister hotel, The Colony. “It’s a luxury you can feel good enjoying.”

On Montauk, newly opened Mary Lou’s is serving caviar along with its signature cocktails; while on Sag Harbor, beloved coffee shop and boutique Sage & Madison has an entire fridge stocked with Altima’s briny goodness.

Say goodbye to green juices and smoothies; this season, it’s all about the caviar bump, the caviar toast and the most luxurious “fish and chips” this side of the Atlantic. As in—you guessed it— caviar on a potato chip, the latest trend. “Incorporating small amounts of caviar into your diet can enhance energy levels, immune function and cellular health,” adds Farooqi. “Food is and remains a powerful medicine.” altimacaviar.com
