Casa Dragones’ Taste of Tradition

A return to San Miguel de Allende for a celebration of life and contemporary Mexican cuisine.

This Día de Muertos, Casa Dragones returned to the place where its story began: San Miguel de Allende. In the beautiful courtyard of La Casa Dragones, co-founder and CEO Bertha González Nieves welcomed guests to an extraordinary celebration filled with tequila, extraordinary food, and the vibrant spirit of the season.

Dishes were created by chef Daniela Soto-Innes, James Beard Award winner and the creative force behind Rubra at the W Punta de Mita. Her courses drew from tropical Mexican flavors and the classic table of Día de Muertos, thoughtfully paired with Casa Dragones Joven and the brand’s recently launched Cristalino.

Cocktails were crafted by two standout voices in Mexico’s contemporary mixology landscape: Fabiola Padilla of Bekeb (One of North America’s 50 Best Bars) and Eli Martínez (Winner, Best Bartender of the Year 2025—MexBest). Working exclusively with Casa Dragones Blanco, they brought forward modern, precise expressions of agave, clean, bright and beautifully layered. As dessert arrived, a violin performance filled the courtyard, creating a cinematic close to a captivating celebration.

As the season of celebration begins, the Casa Dragones portfolio of sipping tequilas bring a sense of refinement to every table. Casa Dragones Blanco, with its clean profile, offers a pure foundation for cocktails crafted with intention.
