At A.L.C., modern Hamptons style isn’t complicated. The woman who wears A.L.C. values quality and dresses with confidence, which is why the brand offers considered classics with a modern twist. Each collection is built on a foundation of exclusive fabrications, world-class construction and thoughtful-yet-subtle design details. The aesthetic remains timeless, yet never predictable.
After growing up in Manhattan, training at Parsons School of Design and living in France and Africa, A.L.C. founder Andrea Lieberman exploded onto the styling scene when she styled Jennifer Lopez in the iconic Versace dress that she wore to the 42nd Annual Grammy Awards in 2000. Inspired by her roster of celebrity clientele, Lieberman launched A.L.C. in 2008 to create the versatile, beautifully crafted staples she felt were missing from women’s wardrobes.

Women are multifaceted, and so are their journeys. At its core, A.L.C. believes that supporting women goes beyond simply helping them look and feel their best. The brand partners with a range of female-led organizations—from charities to artisan collectives to factories—that focus on empowering women and encouraging them to reach their fullest potential.
