Twin sisters Saidah Khan and Nudrat Bisciello, founders of Sacred Spaces Kollectiv, clear energy in homes and businesses, enhancing flow that supports well-being and peace of mind. With an arsenal of tools and healing protocols at the ready—including chakra balancing, Ayurvedic medicine, Reiki and crystals—they set to work. Bells ring, a feather dusts the air, a pendulum swings.

“It’s not just about energetically clearing the space, but also nervous system regulation,” says Bisciello, a former holistic psychiatric nurse practitioner. “Your body knows when the energy in a room is off, even if you might not be aware of it. We’ve all walked into a room where our body tenses up, or feels relaxation and calm. It’s important to have a space that is regulated rather than chaotic.”

Born and raised in Queens, New York, the sisters were drawn to the mystical in their early years, reading new age books such as Brian Weiss’ Many Lives, Many Masters and The Secret. As teenagers, they set metaphysics aside, but returned to it after both had established secular careers, Khan as a senior technical talent partner at Twitter, and Bisciello in healthcare. Soon they became the go-tos for healing and wellness among friends and family, before launching Sacred Spaces Kollectiv two years ago.

During a typical session, Sacred Spaces Kollectiv works to make home or office shipshape, removing stagnant energy and replacing it with peaceful, inspiring vibes that support new goals. Among their successes: recently divorced individuals who have been able to break ties and move on, as well as women conceiving after setting intentions around fertility. “There’s definitely a give and take between us, a telepathy,” says Khan of the twins’ working dynamic. “We tend to feel the same things going through a space.”

Manhattan-based sales executive Ivett Chicas called upon Sacred Spaces Kollectiv to help with the energy of her midtown home, where she frequently works remotely from a desk in a bedroom shared by her two young children. “I was feeling chaotic tension in the apartment, a little anxious. I didn’t know where it was coming from,” Chicas says. “I needed to dilute that energy. I’ve known Nudrat and Saidah for years, and was certain they could clear and refresh the space.”

The twins worked their practical magic. “I’m not normally a person who understands crystals,” Chicas says. “I’m a Type A personality with a high stress job.” The twins focused on Chicas’ desk, then the rest of the apartment. They created a crystal grid—an arrangement of jade, amethyst, chrysocolla, garnet, howlite and pyrite—which Chicas says has been powerfully effective: “I don’t feel anxious when I’m working, and when I’m playing with my kids in the same space, I’m more calm.” Her home, now an oasis of groundedness and flow, clarity and ineffable sparkle, is a tribute to Sacred Space Kollectiv’s business motto: “Energy is the new luxury.” sacredspaceskollectiv.com
