On July 23, the Aspen Community Foundation‘s Director and CEO and staff welcomed donors, philanthropists, nonprofit leaders, board members, and community partners from Aspen to Parachute to Connected, its annual Summer Soirée celebrating the people and partnerships that strengthen the Roaring Fork Valley.
Hosted at The Farm Collaborative in Aspen at Cozy Point, the evening perfectly reflected the Foundation’s mission of cultivating healthy, thriving communities. Guests gathered in the organization’s beautiful new event space, where cocktails and farm-fresh hors d’oeuvres were prepared with ingredients grown on-site. Surrounded by regenerative gardens, educational spaces, and a thoughtfully curated farm market, attendees experienced firsthand The Farm Collaborative’s commitment to sustainability, wellness, and nourishing both people and place.
This year’s honorees were Marcy Musser and the Jonathan D and Marcy Lewis Foundation. Musser, a longtime Aspen Community Foundation board member and steadfast advocate for communities from Aspen to Parachute, was recognized for her extraordinary leadership and generosity. The Jonathan D and Marcy Lewis Foundation was honored for its bold, forward-thinking philanthropy, creating meaningful opportunities and lasting change for young people throughout the Roaring Fork Valley.
Guests embraced the evening’s “Farm Fancy” attire with imaginative interpretations that reflected the relaxed elegance of the setting.
Chaired by Tony DeLucia, Lauren and Mike Kaplan, and Melanie and Adam Lewis, the event was made possible through the generous support of Gold Sponsors including Pyrrhus, New Age, Jared Fix Studio, Crazy Mountain Beer, Entourage Rosé, Alpine Bank, Obermeyer Wealth Partners, and Radiant Jewelers.
The name Connected could not have been more fitting. Throughout the evening, donors, philanthropists, nonprofit directors, staff, volunteers, and community leaders came together to celebrate a shared purpose while forging new relationships and strengthening existing ones. Conversations sparked new ideas, collaborations were born, and the spirit of giving extended well beyond the evening itself.
At Purist, we believe that wellness is measured not only by how we care for ourselves, but by how we care for one another. Connected was a beautiful reminder that one of the healthiest investments a community can make is in its people. Through generosity, collaboration, and compassion, the Aspen Community Foundation continues to build a stronger, more connected future for the communities it serves—from Aspen to Parachute.
