Chanel Dinner Celebrating the J12 Yacht Club at The Sunset Beach Hotel, Shelter Island, NY – July 20th, 2019
On Saturday, July 20, CHANEL hosted a special dinner to celebrate the rebirth of the J12, the icon of CHANEL Watches. Actors, artists, musicians and influencers arrived on the shores of Shelter Island Sound by boat to experience the J12 YACHT CLUB – a nod to the J-Class racing yachts that served as inspiration for the original J12 watch. The J12 YACHT CLUB reflects a modern-day interpretation of a classic yacht club, as only CHANEL could imagine it.
Guests were immersed in CHANEL’s take on seaside living complete with customized umbrellas, coolers, surf boards, badminton and ping pong. The CHANEL game room offered a chic and clubby enclave for a friendly board game. To complete the yacht club experience, guests were invited to discover the J12 collection in the Sunset Beach Boutique.
During dinner, CHANEL sail boats and the sunset were in perfect view from the second floor of Sunset Beach. The night was capped off with a performance by Billie Eilish.
