Purist sponsors Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s 61st Annual Summer Party in Southampton, NY – August 3rd, 2019
On Saturday, August 3rd, the Southampton Hospital Foundation hosted the 61st Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Annual Summer Party under air-conditioned tents in the fields at Wickapogue Road and Old Town Road, Southampton.
The renowned Summer Party is one of the largest fundraising events in the Hamptons, and this year raised over $1.5million through the generous support of its honorees, donors and guests.
Over 700 benefactors attended in support of the Jenny & John Paulson Emergency Department which is the first Level III Trauma Center on the East End and services the community 24/7, year-round. In 2018, the ED had over 21,900 visitors, with almost half those visits occurring during Memorial Day through Labor Day.
This year’s party honored philanthropists Jean & Martin Shafiroff; and was emceed by lead news anchor at WNBC Chuck Scarborough. Designers Sachin & Babi Ankasa were this year’s Fashion Chairs. Guests enjoyed signature cocktails, sumptuous dining and opulent décor by Lawrence Scott Events with music by Groove Society.
Notable attendees included: Jean & Martin Shafiroff, Chuck Scarborough, Marigay Mckee, Fern Mallis, Rolanda Watts, Andrea & Alex Douzet, Dr. Wedy Suzuki, & Southampton Mayer Jesse Warren.
