On July 2, 2021, Purist hosted an intimate summer gathering with local interior designers and friends of the publication at Ralph Lauren Home (41 Jobs Lane in Southampton) to celebrate the opening of the Home Cottage. Guests enjoyed healthy bites, refreshing summer drinks and Ralph’s Coffee cold brew while mingling and shopping the Home Cottage. A floral pop-up shop in the garden provided complimentary bouquets of flowers for guests to enjoy for the 4th of July holiday weekend.
The quaint Ralph Lauren Home Cottage offers a special Hamptons shopping experience, serving as the destination for summer entertaining, gifts fitting for the season, and home furnishings. A private brick path and welcoming garden lead up to the Cottage promising an idyllic Hamptons setting. The Cottage offers Ralph Lauren Home’s all-encompassing collection, highlighting the new Summer Hill lifestyle with a preppy palette of Kelly green, heathered blue, and tangerine evocative of the season. The offering includes fine bed linens and textiles – from throw pillows with sporty motifs and graphic beach towels, a breadth of entertaining pieces – from handcrafted stoneware to sophisticated crystal and barware, to gifts and decorative accessories – from leather desk sets well-suited for the home office to cashmere cable-knit blankets and candles with an array of distinct aromas. The Heritage Icons bedding collection, which offers a signature assortment of menswear-inspired shirtings as well as a lustrous collection of RL Organic Sateen, is also presented. Iconic furnishings present a glimpse into the comprehensive furniture collection. A curated selection of vintage and antique pieces seamlessly pair with the home collection to complete a shopping experience that is uniquely Ralph Lauren. The Home Cottage will transform seasonally to celebrate new Ralph Lauren Home lifestyle collections.
