Meurice, New York’s premier dry cleaning service, has just set up shop in Southampton.

Meurice is known for having restored ancient tallits, 100-year-old wedding gowns, and even restoring a collection of gowns owned by the late Princess Diana. Aside from cleaning, Meurice also works with expert cobblers to soothe cracked leather and re-condition footwear, and works with experts in handbag restoration. New to Southampton at 26 Jagger Lane, this is Meurice’s second CLEAN by Meurice location in the Hamptons. The CLEAN by Meurice concept provides care for everyday essential clothing items, while the Meurice brand is designated for designer, couture and vintage items. For over 60 years, Meurice has been renowned for its expertise and consistency, providing top-quality cleaning for all items from garments to draperies, rugs and upholstery, as well as garment cleaning and restoration.  

Meurice first opened its doors in 1961 on University Place in Manhattan, and over time became a New York City institution with a celebrity clientele and recognition for is white-gloved services and customer experience including front door delivery services. Wayne Edelman, CEO of Meurice, took over the business in the 80s from his father, Larry Edelman.
