The East End fitness landscape for summer 2026 shifts toward high-tech wellness and infrared-heated sanctuaries. Leading the expansion is ID Hot Yoga in Sag Harbor, bringing its signature “Hot Sculpt” method to the village following a successful soft opening this spring. In Montauk, Offshore Montauk debuts a prime oceanfront luxury gym, while Fuze House opens a new location dedicated to infrared-heat, mat Pilates.
Nearby, The Shakes Pilates launches its “Beach House” studio this summer, The Pilates Snob is back for her seventh season at Real Pilates Montauk, Salt Air Beach Pilates is now booking for the season, and Harbor Pilates brings a pop-up studio to Noyac. In East Hampton, KZ Pilates+ offers a meditative sanctuary where Kevyn Zeller hosts her signature Core Collective Sessions—intimate, four-person classes that blend classical Cadillac work with a restorative aesthetic.
Seasonal residencies and pop-ups remain the summer’s focal point. Post House continues to evolve as a premier fitness platform, hosting a rotating lineup of celebrity trainers and brand-led takeovers in Sag Harbor. This summer features group studio residencies from KKSweat and Pvolve, alongside a dedicated Pilates residency from Forma. Another favorite, NRTHRN Strong, returns to the East End with various pop-ups being planned. Expect the signature 50-minute Nordic-inspired sessions that utilize a patented ski-simulating trainer to deliver a high-intensity, joint-friendly burn.

Gurney’s Montauk celebrates its 100th anniversary with a curated outdoor fitness series featuring rotating instructors for sculpt and strength. At The Surf Lodge, look for waterfront morning sessions, while Hero Beach Club hosts yoga teacher Ashley McGee for weekly public outdoor classes starting in June. McGee’s practice is grounded in Iyengar-based alignment, blending Vinyasa with sonic healing and aromatherapy.
At Main Beach in East Hampton, Jimmy Minardi returns with his legendary barefoot beach workouts, utilizing a 14-station agility course designed to challenge stability on the sand. Over at Yoga Shanti in Sag Harbor, Erika Halweil offers her Dynamic Embodied Yoga three times a week.

Established favorites have introduced new tech to the lineup. Tracy Anderson’s Sag Harbor studio now prominently features the RheaMetis Reformer, a machine utilizing multidirectional, spring-based resistance to mirror natural movement. Anderson also continues classes at her newly renovated Water Mill location. Equinox x Hamptons reopens for the season on May 18, and DanceBody returns with pop-up classes spanning from Southampton to Montauk.
