PURIST hosts Voss Foundation’s Women Helping Women Luncheon at Urban Zen Sag Harbor – July 13th, 2018

On Friday, July 13th, Purist hosted the Voss Foundation’s fourth annual “Women Helping Women” Luncheon at Urban Zen x Tutto il Giorno in Sag Harbor. This Voss Foundation Campaign has raised nearly $950,000 in Europe and the United States to build clean water access points and sanitation facilities in Kenya, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Liberia, and Swaziland.

The luncheon included a pop-up shopping experience with some of PURIST’s favorite brands and partners such as wearable wellness energy shields from Awaken the Peace, handcrafted high-end jewelry by Clarissa Bronfman, organic unisex skincare from EIR NYC, medical grade anti-wrinkle patches from SiO Beauty, along with timeless luxury wear by Ala Von Auersperg and of course Urban Zen’s African Bazaar.

While guests shopped the pop-up they conversed over Fleurs De Prairie’s rosé, Empower cocktails, and Italian hors d’oeuvres prepared by Tutto il Giorno.

Purist also sold their wellness products such as small totes, comfy tees, bamboo candles, multi-purpose coconut oil and HINT’s new chemical-free sunblock. 15% of all sales throughout the day were donated back to the Voss Foundation, helping to improve the lives of African women and their communities by providing access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, allowing women the freedom to work, study, and build a healthy future.

Notable attendees included: Tutto il Giorno’s Gabby de Felice, Art Advisory’s Kim Heirston, HIFF Director Anne Chaisson, jeweler Clarissa Bronfman, Gigi Mortimer, Marcy Warren, Deborah Hughes, John Gerace, Bettina Stelle & Martina Bonnier.
