Purist celebrates Frederico Azevedo’s new book Bloom The Luminous Gardens of Frederico Azevedo at Unlimited Earthcare in Bridgehampton, NY – June 22nd, 2019
On the second day of summer, Frederico Azevedo, the founder of Unlimited Earth Care celebrated the release of his new book, Bloom: The Luminous Gardens of Frederico Azevedo, with a garden party at his garden concept store in Bridgehampton. Bloom, published by Pointed Leaf Press, features stunning photographs of Azevedo’s landscapes, and his meditations on the elements of landscape design as a medium.
The event is also celebrating the opening reception of an exhibition of work by Zurab Tsereteli, presented with Phillippe Hoerle-Guggenheim, the founder of HG Contemporary gallery. The grand mosaic pieces of Garden of Eden represent a unique selection from a twenty-year period of Tsereteli’s work, that focuses on the artist’s colorful interpretations of natural imagery, such as mushrooms, penguins, and a notably dignified horse.
Publisher Suzanne Slesin of Pointed Leaf Press joined the writer, Camille Coy in selling copies of Bloom, while Frederico signed and dedicated them. Guests enjoyed drinks and bites by Acquolina, and wandered the sculptures and flowers mingling and enjoying the music. Guests of mention were Phillippe Hoerle-Guggenheim, Kira Tsereteli (Zurab Tsereteli’s daughter-in-law), Alex Cohen (Frederico’s partner), Adam Sikora (a partner of Acquolina catering), and Helen Cleland (Purist publisher).
After the event, friends of Frederico and Phillippe were invited to Pierre’s for a private dinner in their upstairs lounge.
