Just ahead of International Women’s Day, nearly 400 women gathered at The Ritz Carlton, South Beach on February 27 for the fourth annual Women’s Power Breakfast, founded by the mother-daughter duo Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos and Sophia Kanavos.
Centered around this year’s global IWD theme, Give to Gain, the morning brought together trailblazers across industries for three dynamic conversations: The Power of Experience: Women Building the Next Era of Iconic Hospitality, The New Aesthetic: Redefining Beauty & Wellness Through Purpose and Innovation and Game Changers: Women Using Sports to Redefine Power and Purpose.
Cristina Cuomo was joined by an influential lineup of founders and executives, including Ana Navarro-Cárdenas, Laura Geller, Alexandra Wilkis Wilson, Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton, and Amy Peterson, alongside hospitality leaders Sarah Wetenhall, Lesley Goldwasser, Diana Stobo and Jackie Soffer, and sports voices Victoria Jacobi, Kendra Bulluck-Major, Susan Summons, Jasmine Robinson, and Taylor Burner, for dynamic conversations on leadership, ownership and the evolving definition of success across industries.
All proceeds benefited the Women of Tomorrow Mentor & Scholarship Program, a leadership development program dedicated to mentoring and empowering young women, culminating in the presentation of a $50,000 check to Women of Tomorrow founder Jennifer Valoppi to support its mentorship initiatives.
