Flourish and Flow marks a significant evolution in British artist Paul Robinson aka LUAP’s ongoing exploration of identity, reflection and emotional presence. Curated by Frederico Azevedo and set within the immersive natural setting of the Hamptons, the exhibition features seven new oil paintings in which LUAP’s recurring figure—the Pink Bear—moves through a series of quietly transformative encounters with the landscape.

These works extend LUAP’s practice beyond symbolic imagery and into atmospheric narrative. The Bear, a consistent yet mutable protagonist, is shown not as spectacle but as participant—reclining, rowing, pausing, drifting—absorbed into environments shaped by water, foliage, light and time. Across the series, the Bear becomes less a subject to be observed and more a vessel for experience—one that reflects the viewer’s own internal tempo.

“My idea to curate this exhibition is to remind people that there is a place in each one of us where there is always spring,” says Unlimited Earth Care founder Frederico Azevedo. “This place can be inside of us or somewhere that makes us happy, but in that place, we can spread seeds of change.”

Rendered in oil, the paintings are rich with physicality and subtle layering. Edges blur, details soften and light pools across skin, water and cloth with painterly restraint. Though the imagery is accessible, the emotional register remains open—resistant to fixed interpretation. LUAP uses the material to slow down perception, creating surfaces that invite prolonged viewing.

Unlimited Earth Care invites all who love art and nature to experience Flourish and Flow at the Garden Market.
